Omani Vegetable Oils & Derivatives Co.(L.L.C) is a prominent business enterprise promoted by three business leaders in Oman - Dhofar Cattle Feed Co., Dhofar Insurance Co. and Dhofar International Development and Investments Holding Co.
 
Its location in the Raysut Industrial area gives it the logistical advantage in international trade due to its proximity to the port of Salalah.
 
Its refined vegetable oils widely used for cooking under the popular brand names of Al Safa Palmolein, Sahi Sunflower Oil & A’Safwah Pure Vegetable Ghee are available in the Middle East and many African countries.
 
History : Omani Vegetable Oils & Derivatives Co.(L.L.C) was born in 2004. Keeping in view the corporate mission of the group we have concentrated in giving the best quality cooking oils to the customers – with the utmost interest of their health.
 
Today, within a short span of 6 years, we occupy significant market shares in many Middle East and African countries.
 
Location : Our factory is located at Salalah, Sultanate of Oman and we have a Branch office in Muscat, Syria and UAE.
 
Technology: We have state of the art refinery, most advanced fully automatic high speed filling machinery and equipments to produce quality products conforming to international standards and under strict hygienic rules.
Highly qualified technical staff with considerable food manufacturing experience oversees the entire operations.
 
Quality : Stringent measures are in place to ensure that our products meet the customer’s and statutory requirements.
 
Raw Materials: Sourcing of raw materials is done from the best international sources only after samples have been thoroughly tested by our quality control department.
 
Storage: All raw materials and finished goods are stored in modern ambient stores or cold rooms as required.
